Brand, Product and Market Development for City Fruit

City Fruit - SOS and City Fruit joined forces to expand City Fruit's neighborhood harvest within the Seattle area and to build relationships with local businessses interested in supporting the cultivation of our urban fruit in order to nourish those who need it the most. City Fruit connects the dots of wasted/unused fruit with the nutritional need of those below the poverty level, helps build community through education of fruit tree care and uses of harvested fruit, and protects the climate by reclaiming urban fruit trees. SOS successfully expanded the harvest in one season and generated over 7,000 pounds of additional fruit to underserved populations in Seattle. In addition, SOS initiated and cultivated two key partnerships for City Fruit resulting in a very successful fundraiser hosted by the West Seattle Nursery and a co-branded plum jam created by Stumbling Goat Bistro and sold for the benefit of City Fruit.
